Black and grey gradient...and a splash of colour :)

Hi ladies! I was inspired by a child's leggings the other day and decided to paint my nails based on it. With a gradient of black and grey though, I knew I wanted to add some colour to it ;)

Pinky: Two coats of Shimmer Polish Carmen.
Ring, middle & thumb: Two coats of Ulta3 wildberry and then a gradient with Ulta3 black satin. I then stamped with BM-205 and Rimmel Your majesty.
Index: Two coats of black satin and then a glitter gradient applied with Carmen.

Cindy has an amazing line of polishes, all inspired by her friends and family. You can take a look at the polishes she creates on her blog and her etsy shop. Check out all the amazing swatches and reviews on the Shimmer Polish facebook page too!

What do you think, does Carmen add that little bit more colour to the nail look? :)

Thanks for reading!

  2. Yes, it does ^_^

About the BM-205 plate... I also own it and indeed it is so hard to stamp large surfaces (like the butterflies in the pics) without colourless 'holes'. Fortunately in this case they give a 'vintage' effect to the nail art so... great job!

  5. Thanks Rebenice :) Agree with the vintage effect on this one hehe. It's so frustrating sometimes when images don't stamp properly though!
